I'm Muhammad Umair, an interior designer based in Pakistan. I graduated with a Bachelor's in Interior Design from the National College of Arts (NCA) and have since worked across residential apartments, corporate offices, luxury hotels, and retail environments.

A 5-bedroom villa redesign for a young family relocating from the UK. The brief called for blending British contemporary style with warm Pakistani craftsmanship. I introduced open-plan kitchen-dining, custom walnut millwork, and a neutral palette punctuated by terracotta and brass accents.

Gulberg III, Lahore
A 4,200 sq ft coworking space designed around flexibility and community. I created distinct zones — focused work pods, collaborative lounges, and a café-style breakout area — using moveable partitions and acoustic panels. The brand palette (deep navy and warm yellow) was integrated throughout the joinery and upholstery.

Gulberg II, Lahore
A 22-room boutique hotel celebrating Mughal heritage through a contemporary lens. I sourced hand-cut jaali screens, handwoven rugs from Multan artisans, and aged brass fixtures. The lobby features a 14-ft arched ceiling mural commissioned from a local miniature painter, creating an instant statement on arrival.

Bahria Town, Islamabad
A master bedroom and en-suite redesign for a client who wanted a five-star hotel feel at home. I designed a floating headboard wall in smoked oak veneer, integrated hidden LED cove lighting, and selected a monochrome marble bathroom with a freestanding soaking tub as the centrepiece.

MM Alam Road, Lahore
Farm-to-table dining concept that required the interior to reflect the brand's organic ethos. I used raw concrete, reclaimed timber, live-edge tables, and hanging terrarium planters to create an earthy, warm atmosphere. The restaurant has been featured in Dawn Images and three local food publications.

Model Town, Lahore
A family medical clinic designed to reduce patient anxiety through biophilic design principles. Soft sage walls, abundant natural light through enlarged skylights, indoor greenery, and gentle curved forms throughout. Waiting times reportedly felt shorter — a testament to how design affects perception.
